My medical doctor/massage therapist/physiotherapist says I shouldn't see a chiropractor. Are they qualified to judge?
If your medical doctor/massage therapist/physiotherapist has a chiropractic degree and is a registered, practicing DC, then they are certainly qualified to pass comment on the need for chiropractic care. This, however, is rarely the case and if a heath care professional states that a person shouldn’t se a DC, they are displaying ignorance of modern diagnostics. Chiropractors will always alter their technique application to the individual person’s condition, be they a newborn baby or a hundred year old person. Safety and effectiveness are the cornerstones of chiropractic practice and history can attest to this.
